The Madness Chronicles – Episode 9

In this, our ninth episode of the Madness Chronicles, we’ll take a look at some Democrats who suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. Remember, madness is a state of being mentally ill, especially severely, extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at these ‘so called’ leaders.

We’ll start down in beautiful South Carolina, where House Majority Whip Representative, James Clyburn, a Democrat, told an audience during the Black Economic Alliance Forum at the Charleston Music Hall that if impeachment fails, we should amend the Constitution. He really doesn’t like The Donald. But why you might ask? California Representative Maxine Waters says, “This is a bunch of scumbags, that’s what they are, who are all organized around making money.” She was referring to Trump and his cabinet and speaking with MSNBC correspondent Chris Hayes.

Moving out to Hollywood, they have a lot of problems with Mr. Trump. Matt Damon, who hates guns but makes a fortune pretending to be a bad guy, said, “Trump makes me nervous. There’s no way we can let this guy be the President.” Did you know we had to ask Matt if it was okay Trump be President? A young man is taking himself far too seriously. Some extremely foolish behavior there, Matt.

George Takei, an actor of Star Trek fame, said, “Trump is a cancer on our democracy. He must be rejected by all patriots, for the good of our national identity and values.” I wonder if he even knows Trump? And actress and mental giant, Kate Walsh said, “”This is a national disaster. An illiterate, bigoted, misogynistic, racist, rapist has become President. I have no words.” Maybe these are some of the reasons driving Trump Derangement Syndrome?

The sports world was not to be outdone by the Left Coast. Superstar Lebron James, who makes mega millions playing with a round ball, said to the President on Twitter, “U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain’t going! So therefore ain’t no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!” He was referring to Trump taking back his invite to the Golden State Warriors after Steph Curry said he wouldn’t go anyway. Mr. James is such a great example for our young folks.

Of course, Steph Curry himself was quite articulate about the President when he said, “We don’t stand for basically what our President has – the things that he’s said and the things that he hasn’t said at the right times – that we won’t stand for it. By acting and not going, hopefully that will inspire some change when it comes to what we tolerate in this country, what is accepted and what we turn a blind eye toward. It’s not just the act of not going, there are things you have to do in the back end that you have to push that message into motion.” Be honest. Do you have any idea what he is talking about? Maybe Kaperneak understands him?

Filmmaker Michael Moore said, “Trump is trying to start a war.” That was when the President sent a missile to meet one of Iran’s top terrorists while on a leisurely ride from the airport. Before we run with that prediction, this week, he said our world has only four more years left if we don’t address climate change. He deserves another bag of popcorn and a Twinkie for that wisdom.

May we wake from this madness before it’s too late. I wish you good health and until next time… have fun, enjoy life, and watch out for the madness amongst us.
